Sally founded B.I.C. Realty in 1971. B.I.C. stands for Beaurline Investment Corporation (Sally’s maiden name). Sally spent every summer on Lake Vermilion on Taylor’s Island where her family has owned a cabin since 1939. After graduating from the University of Illinois, she moved to Cook and opened the real estate office. That seemed to be the thing to do since her majors were English Literature and Art History!
Sally has also been the volunteer President of the W.C. Heiam Medical Foundation which supports the hospital. In her 22 years with the organization, the foundation has raised over 2.5 million and has donated over $500,000 to the hospital and other area organizations which help support the hospital.
Sally and her husband, Mark, enjoy boating on Lake Vermilion in vintage wooden boats. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
