In Minnesota Fall is a historically good time for buying and selling Property.
Sellers will deal with more serious offers and buyers during Fall.
Buyers will face less competition from other buyers.
Many buyer and sellers assume Spring and Summer are the busiest times of the year for real estate transactions but in Minnesota, Fall can actually be the strongest time of the year for home and property sales to close.
Winter can be Long and Brutal
Dealing with Winter is a way of life in our area. There is no changing Mother Nature’s plans. Buying homes during winter can be a challenge due to the snow cover and moving in freezing temperatures, icy roads and sometimes blizzard conditions. Thus, buyer and sellers both become more motivated in Fall to get real estate transactions finalized and closed before the long winter settles in.
Less Time for Less Serious Buyers
With school, hunting season and getting ready for the Holidays occupying some people’s time, buyers will find they have less competition from other buyers. In the Fall, usually only the truly motivated and serious buyers are out looking at property.
